Oliver was with me when I took this test and we were both so excited! I don't think I've ever seen Oliver smile so big besides our wedding day! We didn't want to get our hopes up too high until I went to the doctors and confirmed it. Sure enough, the nurse said, "Congratulations, you're 4 1/2 weeks pregnant." :)
We only told close friends and family and even that I thought was too many to tell too soon! Father's Day was around the corner and we thought that was perfect timing to tell our dad's they're going to be grandpa's so that's what we did :). Nothing unique. Our parents are very happy and excited and it makes us even more excited! My mom mentioned she was wondering when would we start having babies because I was getting old.... -_-.. Thanks mom.
Week 5
Week 6
I still feel nauseous especially in the mornings but I noticed my appetite has gotten better later in the week. I'm still picky but I can stomach more things now. Thinking of seafood or battered fish tacos make me sick now. Why do I think of these if they make me feel nauseous? Maybe I'm hoping to get over it. I forgot to mention I do still try to work out but mostly walking. I do low impact and go to the gym.
Week 7 & 8.
Ok I will stop my weekly here and wait to surprise you all. I think I see a bump! Or is it because I just ate? This week I was a little paranoid. 4th of July ends up in week 7. We went to our friends for a BBQ and the next day a crawfish dinner. I didn't eat the crawfish. A good handful of people where there that didn't know I was pregnant. I was careful not to slip or hoped nobody noticed I wasn't drinking wine! I still feel nauseous all the time. It's gotten to that point where I actually do vomit. I'm also more tired and sleepy! I actually took a nap! (I don't do naps.) I don't drink coffee still but I have a few sips of Oliver's coffee during the weekends LOL. The weeks are going by slow because we can't wait to announce in 4 weeks!
9 Weeks :)
Week 12
(Finally!)
YES! We can officially announce our pregnancy and I can publish this blog post! This has been the longest 12 weeks in my life. I really really REALLY hope the morning sickness and nausea goes away. We're so excited to share the news with EVERYONE this time!
